When you think  about upgrading your kitchen write down everything you want in a list for the contractor.  Trophy Kitchen and Bath Design's initial consultation will include your desire for the elements of your kitchen.  The project is an orchestra of notes that come together as a symphony with all the major players that include the contractor, plumber, electrician and vendors that will supply your products: however, the most important person is you!  We are a consultants for the remodel.  We will manage the project and stay within budget while providing clarity and superior customer service; however, our expertise does not include interior design.  Keep in mind the scope of your project and determine a budget.

What do you really want?  If your home is older, new lighting may be required or if you want that center island,  will the plumber have to run a line  to it?  Logistics must be considered and your role collaborating with our professionals will lead to less stress!  Do you know what colors you want?  Think about the backsplash and countertop that will blend with it.  What kind of cabinetry and flooring do you want?  Keep all this in mind when determining your budget.  We will be happy to help you get to those raw numbers.

The timeline for your project is 6 - 8 weeks.  After the initial consultation our kitchen designer will take measurements in the first week. Additionally, tear out and demolition will take place in the first week. Followed by rough in work and plumbing.  Permits are required for this stage followed by professional inspections. Some appointments will be determined by the inspectors, plumber and electrician.  Please be sure to put these appointments on a calendar and adhere to the dates and times.  We will include any enhancement from your list such as corner cabinets or a Lazy Susan.  Do you want drawers?   How many knobs and pulls will you need?  Your help in coordinating these products such as faucets to the plumber are essential.  Will ventilation be needed?  What appliances will be added?  The stove, refrigerator, oven or wall ovens, sink, faucet, dishwasher and countertops should be finalized by the designer's visit.  Finish walls, install doors and windows, add cabinets and plumbing fixtures, bring in new appliances and flooring in weeks 2 through 8.  We will communicate the timeline as it progresses to your finished kitchen! Time to Celebrate!  We design happiness!  Email us your ideas @tkbdesign@trophykitchencabinetry.com
